Do you have a favorite Wisconsin restaurant that you think deserves the spotlight? Maybe it’s the cozy diner where the coffee is always hot and the pancakes are stacked high—or the hidden gem serving up mouthwatering Friday fish frys and cheese curds that dreams are made of. Whether it’s a long-standing local legend or a new eatery that stole your heart (and taste buds), now’s your chance to give them the recognition they deserve!
The 2025 WI Heart Awards are officially open for Restaurant Nominations, and we want to hear from YOU.
We’re calling on all lovers of Wisconsin—yes, even if you don’t live here—to submit your favorite restaurant for this year’s honors. Whether you’re a local, a frequent visitor, or simply a fan of Wisconsin’s incredible food scene, you do not have to be a Wisconsin resident to nominate or vote—you just have to LOVE Wisconsin.
How It Works:
Nominate Your Favorite Restaurant
Submit your nomination before June 30th, 2025. Any Wisconsin-based restaurant is eligible—from corner taverns and food trucks to fine dining and farm-to-table cafés.
Top 5 Finalists
After the nomination period closes, we’ll tally the submissions and announce the Top 5 Most Nominated Restaurants. These finalists will move on to the final voting round.
Vote for the Winner
In true Wisconsin fashion, you—our amazing Wisconsinites and Wisconsin lovers—will decide the winner! Voting opens shortly after finalists are announced, so stay tuned.
Celebrate the Best
The restaurant with the most votes will be crowned the Best Restaurant in Wisconsin 2025, recognized with a WI Heart Award and bragging rights for the entire year.
